National Planning Agency of Iceland

Main assignment was creating Planning and Design guidelines for densification areas, primarily targeted at TOD-nodes for the new BRT-system in the greater Reykjavik-area. The guidelines were conducted in collaboration with architect firm Stika, and the Association of municipalities in the Capital area (SSH).

The work included secondary research of existing guidelines as well as formulating, drafting and writing the document.

The document included guidelines for density, land-use, form and scale, public space and street design, place identity, connections and mobility.
