A supporter of the Icelandic national teams sings along with the song "Ferðalok" at the Reykjavík Art Museum

Course: Final project
Video/Performance - 30 min

A young man dressed as a football fan sings the song “Ferðalok” in an empty museum space. A playback of a recording of Icelandic football fans at the FIFA European cup 2016 fades in and out resulting in the young man alternately singing alone, or within a group. The piece addresses nationality, masculinity, loneliness and belonging.
